Maio Mè

VENETIAN PLATE

Authentic Italian Stories.

From the Smoke of the Grill… to the Jar

A recipe filled with family, memories, and childhood. Created by chef Andrea Poli, who grew up surrounded by the smoky aromas of his grandmother’s kitchen—flavors he has brought back to life in his own restaurant, specializing, among other things, in grilled meats.

To evoke the tastes of his childhood, Andrea Poli teamed up with Bonverre to develop a uniquely flavored condiment. A smoked mayonnaise that, playing on the sounds of the Venetian dialect, becomes “Maio Mè.” Our smoked mayonnaise is a Venetian-inspired condiment with a rich, enveloping taste, capable of turning even the simplest sandwich into a gourmet delight.

Andrea Poli

Andrea Poli

Originally from San Pietro in Gu (PD), Chef Andrea Poli has always been immersed in the world of hospitality. As a child, he slept in the rooms of his family-run inn, surrounded by the charm of the restaurant, spoiled by everyone with little tastings. After completing his university studies, he decided to move to Australia to master the art of grilling. Upon returning, he brought his vision to life, creating what is now Gustificio.

Gustificio

Nestled in the countryside of Carmignano di Brenta, Gustificio is a haven for those who seek to awaken the “echo of something ancient” through pastry and cuisine—rediscovering tradition and old-world knowledge in a modern, innovative way. A place that skillfully blends territory and contemporary flavors, cuisine and hospitality, dining and pastry, light and fire.
